The Blu-Core is the central hub of the Blu-Ecosystem. Built around a Raspberry Pi 5 16GB, it provides local processing, storage, networking and automation for the property.
No cloud subscriptions, no mandatory cloud services and no data being sent somewhere you can't see. The Blu-Core is designed around local processing, local storage and local control.
Every Blu-Core uses the same primary computing platform and underlying software capability. The wider Blu-Ecosystem connects through the Core, with dedicated nodes and infrastructure designed around the individual property.
Start with what you need and expand over time without replacing the foundation. When a Blu-Core is planned alongside a renovation, the routes, power, networking and sensors it may need can become part of the build rather than a collection of additions afterwards.

No software-locked tiers
Every Blu-Core begins with the same 16GB Raspberry Pi 5 primary platform and the same underlying software capability.
The difference between Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum is physical capacity and additional hardware. A Bronze Core can develop through the range as the property and its requirements grow without replacing the primary platform it started with.
BluCore Bronze
The complete foundation.1TB NVMe storage, active air cooling and the complete standard Blu-Core specification.
Bronze is designed as a fully capable starting point rather than a restricted entry model. It can operate independently, integrate compatible existing devices and provide the foundation for any future Blu-Ecosystem expansion.
BluCore Silver
More capacity. Same foundation.Everything in Bronze, with 2TB NVMe storage, increased cooling capacity and additional AI acceleration hardware.
Silver is designed for properties expecting greater local storage, more intensive processing or a growing ecosystem while retaining the same modular architecture and upgrade path.
BluCore Gold
Built for larger ecosystems.Everything in Silver, with 4TB NVMe storage, increased AI acceleration and cooling capacity, plus internal environmental monitoring of the Blu-Core itself.
Gold provides greater capacity for larger properties and more extensive BluSecure, BluSense, BluEnergy and other ecosystem installations.
BluCore Platinum
Maximum Blu-Core capability.Everything in Gold, with 8TB NVMe storage, the highest standard AI acceleration specification and actively controlled thermal management.
Internal conditions are monitored and cooling is automatically controlled against defined operating parameters.
Platinum is designed as the highest standard Blu-Core foundation for extensive whole-property systems, substantial local data storage and demanding local processing.
A Platinum Core with an extensive Blu-Ecosystem installation can exceed £25,000 depending on the property and systems specified.

Blu-Ecosystem nodes are designed and priced around the individual property rather than artificially bundled into Core tiers.
One property might need a single purpose-designed camera while another requires ten. One garden might have a single automated growing bed while another has several growing areas spread across an acre.
The Blu-Core remains the common foundation. The ecosystem around it is designed for the property.
BluGrid

Cameras can be selected, positioned and configured around the area they actually need to protect, helping to minimise unnecessary coverage beyond the property boundary and reduce privacy concerns.

Energy monitoring and optimisation.See what you're using, when and where. Energy information can help identify patterns and support better decisions about heating, appliances, solar, battery storage and when energy is used.
BluSense
Environmental sensing.Temperature, humidity, air quality and occupancy. Data remains local and can be used by the Blu-Core to monitor conditions, trigger alerts or control connected systems where installed.
BluGrow
Smart growing environments.Gardens, greenhouses and plant nurseries. Automated irrigation, environmental monitoring and productive outdoor spaces. Soil and environmental conditions can inform watering rather than relying on a fixed timer alone.
BluWater
Water management, irrigation and leak protection.Monitor water use, automate irrigation and detect leaks throughout the property. Where installed, BluWater can automatically isolate the mains water supply in response to a detected leak, with individual zones monitored and controlled independently.

BluBackup
Dedicated rechargeable backup power.Keeps the Blu-Core, ecosystem and communications infrastructure operating during a power failure.
Designed around the property and required runtime, with solar integration available where suitable. BluBackup is a substantial additional system in its own right, typically adding £5,000 to £10,000 depending on capacity and installation requirements.
